Uploading and Managing Music
How to upload and manage your music on Fairground.
Before You Start
Before uploading music, make sure you have:
- An artist profile - Switch to your artist profile if you have multiple profiles
- Stripe Connect set up - Required to sell music
- Your audio files ready - High-quality audio files for upload
Uploading a Track
- Go to your artist Profile
- Go to Settings
- Tap Music
- Select Create Music to upload your track files (audio and cover artwork)
- Add track details:
- Track name
- Cover artwork - Square image, at least 1400x1400px recommended
- Genre - Help fans discover your music
- Release date - Schedule for a future release or publish immediately
Optional Details
- Lyrics - Add lyrics so fans can follow along
- Hashtags - Additional tags for discoverability
Setting Your Price
Choose how you want to monetise each track:
- Set a price - Fans pay to purchase and download
- Free for True Fans - Free for your True Fans subscribers, paid for everyone else
- Free - Available to everyone at no cost
Exclusivity Options
Make your releases special with exclusivity settings:
Exclusive Release Window
Set a period where only True Fans subscribers can access the track before it's available to everyone.
True Fans Only
Make a track permanently exclusive to your True Fans subscribers.
Credits and Ownership
Once track is uploaded, you will be given an option to associate yourself of others as Writer, Performer or Featured Artist.
Ownerships of rights will be created automatically and displayed on screen for you to confirm or adjust.
Managing Your Music
Viewing Your Uploads
- Go to your Artist Profile
- Tap Music to see all your uploaded tracks
Editing a Track
- Go to your Artist Profile
- Tap Music to see all your uploaded tracks
- Find the track in your music library
- Select Edit
- Update details and save
Removing a Track
- Go to your Artist Profile
- Tap Music to see all your uploaded tracks
- Find the track in your music library
- Select Delete
Deleting a track is permanent. Fans who purchased the track will still have access to their download.

- High-quality artwork - Eye-catching cover art helps your music stand out
- Complete metadata - Fill in all details to improve discoverability
- Consistent releases - Regular uploads keep fans engaged
- Promote exclusives - Use exclusive releases to grow your True Fans subscriber base
